Ozone season ends today

View full sizeNOACAThis was the view of Cleveland's skyline at 3 p.m. today at clevelandhazecam.com.The summer ozone season officially ends today.This summer there were 14 Ozone Action Days; four in June, seven in July and three in September, according to the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for air pollution authorities. The 2011 ozone season was normal, while temperatures and precipitation were above normal.NOACA will continue to issue advisories when wind is carrying pollutants through the area and when pollution is trapped over the region by temperature inversions.Cleveland's skyline can be seen at Hazecam.Check air quality at noaca.org.

Please tally up the total number of cloudy/rainy days this year and contrast it with the average.I swear it's been gloomier here this year than Ireland and the UK.
